Deer as Breakfast Guests

I haven't posted anything in awhile. I got this video sent to me today and I thought I'd share it.
It reminds me of something my dad would love to do some day.

Well, here are a couple of the pictures I took with my Blackberry yesterday. They aren't great, but remember, they are better than nothing!!!

This is a view of the road that Dave and I used to take to get to "our" vacation condo in Litchfield Park. I had to drive by it last night - for old time's sake.
Palm trees always do something to me to put me in a relaxed vacation mood.
It was a good feeling!

This is the entrance to the Kenco's Phoenix RDC.
It's not quite as attractive on the outside as some of the others.

This is a skyline shot of Phoenix's downtown business district.

These are the beginnings of a dust storm that preceded one of the monsoons.
It can get so bad it's like you're in a dense fog that is sandblasting your vehicle.

More to come!

Sunny & Warmer....finally!

I am thrilled....60 degrees and sunshine...yeah! I'm even getting my spring cleaning underway.

I'm doing a lot of laundry, some painting & I'm really happy because I'm finally getting around to throwing some stuff out. If feels Sooo good to de-clutter. Is it only me or does everyone have to be in the right mood to throw things away? Most times I'm either too sentimental or I think about how much things cost and I can't quite bring myself to do it.

All I can say is "thank God my mood was right this weekend"!

Matt Giraud singing Georgia on my Mind - HOT!

This is one of the best renditions of this song that I've ever heard. Click here and enjoy.

AND if you have the time, check out his American Idol audition, here.

Anyone else have Spring Fever???

This past week was so enjoyable. The recent spell of warm weather was wonderful, but boy did it give me a BAD case of spring fever!

I'm SO tired of this:

and

I am really looking forward to seeing GREEN GRASS in the yards and fields. Having FLOWERS growing in the GARDENS again and not having put on a coat and shoes to go to outside. I'm tired of driving to work in the dark and coming back home in the dark. I want to experience OPEN WINDOWS in the living room and bedroom and not feel like I'm throwing hundreds of dollars outside in the form of heated house air. I can't wait to hear the BIRDS SINGING and listen to the wind chimes. I want to feel the warm sunshine on my face and smell the sweet smells of the outdoors. Oh, I can't hardly wait!

But, things happen in God's own time...not mine. The groundhog said we'll have 6 more weeks of winter, we got 3 inches of snow last night and I need to stop writing and go get another log to throw on the fire. Sigh.
